SICK

Ok, she never even ran a fever..but she was so congested. I think I was more upset about this than she was. One thing she was upset about..the dreaded nasal aspirator. Sorry child, but if you can't blow your nose, how else is it going to come out?? You will thank me later.

Bad quality..but how cute? Poor girl was probably trying to figure out how to hide that from me!

Not feeling too hot..but still sassy as ever.

It's 8:15 PM, do you know where your children are???

Don't worry, on Saturday night, while Joe was cheering on the Tigers, the rest of us were in BED. Is this the epitome of old?? 8:15PM on a weekend night, and we are all piled in bed together..aaah, I wouldn't change it for the world. I am a hermit and I love it. I think the worst part of the night would have to be that I thought about ordering a J. Lo movie. Don't judge.

Who wouldn't want to snuggle up with these babies?? Even if it is still light outside..

Party Animal

Yes, this is my little girl at a bar..there is an explanation.

So, my sweet Aunt Ramona turned 50 this month! Her surprise party was this past weekend, and with Joe's parents busy with company, and my entire family attending the birthday bash, the Chittick's were left with no babysitter. So, guess who joined the party?!!? Don't worry, it was a smoke free party at the Holiday Inn..very baby friendly =)

Those two look ready to P A R T Y..

Somebody LOVES squash...

Emily hates taking a bottle and is not the biggest fan of rice, but she seems to like squash! This is our first try at veggies and I have to say it went pretty well. When did vegetables become so exciting???

Looks like she can't get that spoon fast enough...

Success!

We survived!! My first day of clinicals and Emily's first LONG day at daycare was a success. Joe dropped her off this morning and she was all smiles! My day was so busy, I did not even call every hour to check on little Emily..I'm sure the ladies are not too upset that I wasn't able to bother them nonstop. I did call at lunchtime and she was doing great! They said she was such a smiley baby! I mean I'm sure they aren't going to tell me she is screaming her head off..but hey, it made me feel better. I definitely think she is not used to such an active day. Take a look at this picture..

Joe was holding her upright and felt her head against his chin..she was nodding off! Poor baby fell asleep sitting up!! Daycare will wear a girl out!

Serious Anxiety..

Anxiety is setting in. Not only is the summer over, but my maternity leave is OVER. Emily has to be in daycare for EIGHT HOURS at a time. Thinking about that makes me short of breath, my heart race, and I am now sweating. Wow, tomorrow is going to be such a great day. Is calling the daycare every hour..on the hour acceptable?? These ladies are going to kick Emily out because of my insanity..aaah..poor child. I took her on Thursday and Friday for an hour..basically, so I could get used to the idea of her being there. Did it help? Absolutely not.

Silly girl kept kicking the button and turning off her toy.

Lately, the chair has seemed to taste better than her cereal.
