So Long, My Masterpiece..

Bailey is our curious child. She wants a taste of anything in her reach and has destroyed quite a few belongings such as bottle nipples, pacifiers, heels, razorblades, christmas tree lights..you get the picture. No matter how many times she gets in trouble, the list of her chew toys gets longer. We have just come to accept the fact that she is special. Today, she added to her list.

So, here it is. My Halloween masterpiece...destroyed. In Bailey's defense, I did leave the box of dress up clothes (yes, I have one of those) on the floor, while I was attempting to clean out the closet.
Bailey girl..in trouble. Doesn't she look like she feels bad??

Santa Claus is Coming to Town....

We paid a visit to Santa today..and got in trouble for going on a Monday. Nanny and Memmy were not too happy we went while they were at work. Sorry girls, but we do NOT go to the mall on Saturdays in December! Emily was pretty good..she kind of just stared at him and was very serious the whole time. She had a mini meltdown at one point, but quickly recovered. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Serious face

What's all that on your face, Mr.?

Meltdown

Look at Harrison reaching for Emily's hand saying, "It will be over soon, Em".

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a difference a year can make! Last Thanksgiving, my family was at the beach and I worked a 12hr shift..after a long day at work, Joe and I headed to Cracker Barrel..what a wonderful place for a pregnant girl to be. This year, we ate like pigs at my Aunt Sherry's and got to celebrate with little Emily. She was absolutely perfect over there and just sat around like the big girls (minus the wine). We definitely have A LOT to be thankful for this year =)

Cutie patootie

I'm not sure how we go an entire day and get a picture of only 3 family members...

Emily's Thanksgiving feast

Looks yummy......

Hmmm...maybe not

She ended up eating it, but I am not sure how..it smells terrible!

7 Months

Oh, I am so far behind! Emily is 7 months and a handful already. She has decided that sleeping through the night is not in her schedule..but waking up at 1AM is. She is sitting up great, eating more and more baby food, saying MaMa..and Dada (she whispers Dada for some reason..it's too cute). She loves Bella and Bailey..and I really think the love her. She has the best personality and is pretty sassy. She is still 50th% for height and barely 30th% for weight. One of the biggest changes that we have seen lately is that Emily LOVES her bed and LOVES to nap. I'll take that. You would think that when she naps for 1 1/2 hrs+ that I would get something done around the house or get some homework done...absolutely doesn't happen. It's amazing how quickly a precious hour can be wasted.

Sassy thing

Where does she think she's going?? Soon, she is going to just walk out of our photo sessions.

Sisterly love...

How did Emily know Bailey likes to read about animals??

Trick or Treat!

Last minute plans to dress up required a last minute costume change for Emily. She obviously could not dress as a puppy if we were both wearing 70's costumes! So, I made the girl an afro wig. It took a little while, but the result was well worth it. I was crying when I put that wig on her..literally, could NOT stop laughing. She just stared at me with confusion. Emily, you will thank me one day for these pictures. You're welcome.

Lunch Date and Pictures

I just love lunch dates with old friends. I love how we always just pick up right where we left off. We missed one of our regulars this month, but hopefully we will just get together sooner! One of my high school friends has an 18 month old DOLL...and I just met her last week..hmm..I think I might be defined as a bad friend. Look at that face, could she get any cuter?!?! Instead of eating lunch with us, she stayed with her Grandmother and got caught throwing pennies down the toilet. I am in trouble when Emily starts getting into things..how do you not just laugh at everything they do?

She really looks like a little doll..and I wish jeggings looked as cute on me as they do on her.

Emily, sweet Aunt Nan, and adorable little Sophie

Look at Sophie being so motherly.

Pretty Ali and Emily

I bought Emily this cute pink dog...I think she might like it.

Sweet cousins..we finally got some pictures of them together. I just want to squeeze them!

5 and 6 Months...

I am horrible at posting her monthly photos. Emily is SIX months now. I know everyone always says this, but it really is crazy how fast the time flies by. Emily is such a happy baby, and from what we are told, she is quite the entertainer at daycare. Thankfully, those first three months did not indicate what kind of baby Emily was going to be..she really is just the happiest little girl now.

1/2 a year!

Pooping during our photo shoot..

She is eating baby food twice a day and still not a big fan of bottles. She is sitting up and talking up a storm. Her hair is INSANE and still sticks straight up despite any effort to brush it down, and she is FULL of personality. She has started paying a lot of attention to her sisters. Paying attention=pulling their hair. The girls have not seemed too excited about this, but have remained calm and still seem to tolerate her. I keep thinking once she starts throwing solid food at them, they will fall in love with her.

Emily is going to daycare three days a week and she seems to do very well. We LOVE her daycare and couldn't be happier with them. This picture is hilarious..they load up the babies in the "Cadillac" and push them up and down the hall. We are told that the little girl up front with Emily is her BFF. Apparently they just sit and babble at each other all day. Oh, to be a fly on that wall. =)

Emily has also started to nap...when she feels like it.

Goodbye Miracle Blanket, we will miss you.

Aaah, the Miracle blanket, it has truly been a miracle. Emily has slept in this mini straight jacket since she was around two weeks old. She has, for the most part, slept through the night since then. So what if the package says "newborn to 14 weeks"? Well, with Emily being 6 months old now (24 weeks), I guess it really is time to retire this thing. I really did try to make it last until she was 12 yrs. old, and I really want the company to consider making these in larger sizes.

Yes, it was absolutely necessary for me to cut a hole for her feet. No judging allowed.

Thank you, miracle blanket. Last night was not the same without you.

Happy EARLY Halloween!

I couldn't stand it any longer..I have had Emily's costume for months now and I had to get her in it. Anyone that knows us, knows that we are completely obsessed with our other two children. So, of course, we dressed Emily like her sisters! I am pretty sure my dogs officially think I am insane. Emily, you have a few years before the reality of how crazy I am sets in.

Pretty puppy

The girls..take 1 0f 200

Emily was not a very happy camper...so, the paci made the majority of the pictures.

I think this may be our first real picture together.

And the first family picture..
